December XV was made whilst photographing Hart’s most recent series FRAGILE (2020-24) published as a large-format monograph by Dewi Lewis. The picture is an alternative interpretation of the front cover image.

These one-off artist proofs are printed by Hart as part of his book editing process and are unique representations of the images found in his publications, sometimes offering alternative views or different interpretations of featured images.
